Default How to gain 5 levels in 5 minutes without ascending

Look at the screenshot it was taken from right outside of Gates Of Kryta. I could kill them at level 3 which gave 248 exp per kill and with a superior fire rune and minor vigor, I could wistand their wand attacks long enough to kill them quite quickly. As a tip, if you want to try that leveling spot for another char, bring lots of AoE, it really helps.

Yeah, they are pretty weak if you figure them out. Most of their damage is done with that hex that does damage when your energy runs out and the other one that takes energy off every time you attack.

These are actually the Wavecallers (wavebreakers? the water elementalists anyway), which have nasty Elementalist spells but are programmed to only use them when multiple attackers are present, hence they use Aura of Restoration, then try to nibble you to death with petty attacks. Moving from the Gates of Kryta launchpad will let you kill many of them over and over again. Yay?

Nothing in the photo shows you being alone or at level 3.

I just get run straight through to augury and go farming with a buddy, and use scrolls of experience. Works awesome. Plus I get bunches of gold drops.

It's not particularly impressive given that you've obviously been run to Kryta and the Ascalon settlement (to get Meteor Shower).

So a more appropriate title would be "How to gain 5 levels in 5 minutes after having spent at least an hour and at least three skill points preparing for it and having had help from a high-level friend".

hmm, seems ineffective, what I did was get w/ a buddy, and farm lv 24 mountain trolls, 2-5 lvls at a time per run(w/ scroll and depending on lvl).

This is just like that much older thread where some guy was carrying on for pages about his ability to deal 2500 damage or something among a bunch of scarabs in the CD.

So....?

Great, now everyone just has to rely on someone to run them there, since there is no way you made it there on your own being a level 3.

Okay, enough flaming the guy for the whole "level 3 to 8 in five minutes" thing. We get the point.

He does have a valid argument on the Wavebreakers, though. They are rediculously easy sources of XP. Going solo, all I've EVER seen them do is Glyph of lesser energy/Aura of Restoration. Then they poke me for a few measely points of damage each.

Running there... a decent warrior can do it alone at level 10. That's how I did it. Major Rune of Absorption helped, but so did the fact that it got dropped by a Charr... 0_0 Anyways, so there I was, a level 10 Warrior at Gates of Kryta. I go outside, Wavebreakers are doing mostly nothing... occaisionally 1-2 points of damage, but a lot of "-0" popped up. I poked them with my sword until they went away. Lather, rinse, repeat. Got to level 14 in no time. Comparitively.

Lesson of the day: fewer enemies are as easy to kill and give as much XP as Wavebreakers. They are perfect for getting over that hill at levels 11-13.
